UD Outdoor Pool

All Alumni will have access to the UD Outdoor Pool with purchase of a guest pass at the door. The outdoor pool will be open Friday 3-6 PM and 12-6 PM on Saturday & Sunday. 

Online registration is not required. A guest pass may be purchased at the UD Outdoor Pool entrance.

MMSC 75th Anniversary Celebration

Join us in celebrating "75 Years of Science Saving Lives"! The Medical & Molecular Sciences 75th Anniversary Celebration will highlight the wide-ranging changes that have occurred in this field over the last 75 years with a brief program, interactive activities, and a reception that will include heavy hors d'oeuvres and bar.

The Chemical Engineering Department is welcoming all CBE alumni and their guests to join the department in a walk/hike in memory of Professor Fraser Russell at White Clay Creek State Park. Professor Russell led these walks/hikes for years and we continue that tradition today.

Cow to Cone: Behind the Scenes at UDairy Creamery

Cost: $10 per person

UDairy is a UD destination! Join us to learn about UD’s dairy herd and milking process, how our milk travels to our production facility and how it's used to make cheese and ice cream. You'll get to visit the Genuardi Food Innovation Lab to talk to student interns, sample cheese and ice cream and see where our students work and learn. We'll end our tour by walking over to say hello to our Holstein cows. You'll leave with a coupon to redeem at our Flagship or Café location to enjoy a small scoop of ice cream before you leave campus!

Get the Buzz on Bees!

Cost: $10 per person

UD maintains approximately 60 honey bee colonies that are used for teaching, research, and outreach, as well as making honey and other products of the hive. Come visit our on-campus teaching apiary, which houses about half of those colonies, to see the hives in action. You will learn about the structure of a hive, beekeeping through the seasons at UD, our current projects, and how we process honey. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves for an up-close look at our honey bees and our honey production!

Check out the Hen Zone located on the lower level of Perkins Student Center. Play a variety of games, like billiards, foosball, table tennis, quad air hockey, and board games. And while you're at the Hen Zone, cheer on your fellow Blue Hens as they compete in our 2nd annual Super Smash Bros. Tournament!
