Hey MechE Family, it’s reunion time! Come on back to Spencer Lab for our 4th Annual MechE Family Cookout. This is an informal, family-friendly event on the front lawn of Spencer Lab (moving inside Spencer Lab if raining). We'll have food, drinks, music, lawn games, and free UD MechE gear for all to enjoy. The UD MechE faculty will be out in full force and would love to see you again.

Oodles of Doodles: Celebrating “Serious Doodler” James E. Newton
Come and discover the life and legacy of Dr. James E. Newton, founding director of what is today known as the Department of Africana Studies, distinguished UD faculty member, artist, educator, community leader, and activist. Curators and former students and colleagues will be on hand as visitors interact with the art and archival material and a “doodling” station will be available for anyone interested in sketching in the gallery.
