Maryland License Plate
Cost: $100 (this includes the MVA fee)
General Information
- Vehicle must be currently registered in the State of Maryland with a valid registration sticker.
- Plate numbers for Maryland are assigned sequentially.
- Old plates must be turned in to the nearest Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) office when specialty plates are received.
- Upon completion of payment, MVA Application /Certification for Organizational License Plates Form (VR-124) is to be submitted to: UD LICENSE PLATES, Development & Alumni Relations, University of Delaware, 83 E. Main Street, 3rd Floor, Newark, DE 19716. Proceeds benefit the UD Alumni Association scholarship programs.
- Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration will mail plates directly to applicants. Please allow 10 - 12 weeks for delivery.
